I was already having financial issues, so what could make them worse? I was laid off a month ago and in my profession, in my area, there are lots of unemployed people. I would move, but with the housing market so bad, I can't sell my house. Yesterday they cut off my water. I get phone calls from the credit card company, but I can't even afford to send them $1. I'm trying to find a new job, but the econmy is so bad, it's rough. I've submitted my resume to a hundred companies and had one interview and 2 phone interviews. I've even tried to start some internet businesses, but it takes money to do that too. I have looked into some of the grant opportunites, but that's so impossible to figure out and the grants that I probably qualify for are not easy to find.
Does anyone have any of the GRANT information for people who have been laid off? I know they exist, but I cannot find them. This would be a tremendous help to a lot of us on here.
